You may remember few weeks back someone noticed that Google’s burger emoji in Android 8.0 was all sorts of wrong, with its cheese below the patty and being an affront to all burgers and humanity in general. Then someone discovered the beer glass emoji was only half full (or half empty?) but still had a massive head of foam on top.

Tired of being ruthlessly ridiculed for it on the Internet, Google finally decided to fix its blunder in the Android 8.1 Preview 2. The cheese is now finally in its rightful place. Glasses of beer no longer have floating foam and (I actually didn’t even know about this before but) cheese slices don’t have lines going through their holes.

Everything is alright with the universe again.
