The same firm asked for $5 million from Motorola over poor customer service and unfulfilled warranty promises, and that suit was settled in September – with the company promising to “implement several customer-friendly improvements in the way it processes warranty claims”.
So it would certainly not be the first tango for Girard Gibbs going against a big tech company. At the moment, it’s only encouraging those impacted by the Pixel 2 and 2 XL issues to get in touch and talk to an attorney as part of a “free and confidential case consultation”. Though if many people do respond to this call, it’s pretty likely that a class action lawsuit will be filed against Google.
