The bottom line is that this handset does much better than the Nextbit Robin did, which for all intents and purposes can be looked at like its predecessor, given the very similar design. That’s obviously good, but there are still things that could have been better – the camera glass for example has some kind of coating on top, and because of that permanent marks are visible once a razor blade touched it.
The metal bits of the phone do scratch, and the marks there are permanent too, unfortunately. The buttons are also metal, which is a nice touch. The 120Hz display recovers from an encounter with an open flame just like all other LCDs do, while the bend test does result in a snap near the power button, but the damage is only superficial and doesn’t impede functioning.
